Well, one of the good things about Jon being a Webelos leader is that Alex has become an honorary webelo. Jon almost always takes Alex with him to Webelos, which he really enjoys. A few weeks back the Webelos went fishing at a trout farm.
It was a little rainy out, but not enough to dampen their spirits.
Alex was really excited to try fishing for the first time, but he got a little scared when he actually caught fish - almost dropping the poll and losing them.
Here he is - so poud - with one of the 3 fish he caught. We fried them up for lunch a couple days later. They were pretty good and it was fun for Alex to eat his catch.

How fun. I remember the Cold Springs farm. It almost seems like cheating to fish at a trout farm, but the result is the same. Plus, it pays off when you get to eat the fresh fish rather than going home empty handed. Well done Alex!
